Going on vacation will cause you to miss some things. I really didn't go through my reader while I was gone. I tried to read back, but you guys are pretty prolific.
In the real world, my friends do things outside my sight. We don't share every waking moment, so I choose to look at it like that. I will pick up my blog reading from this point on. If I missed something important, let me know and I'll try to get to it.
I hit it hard on Lisa Burton Radio today. I got one scheduled for Thursday, and worked on three others. I'm about two ahead, but Lisa always needs guests so don't be shy.
I read the children's book I tried to read on the airplane, and posted a nice review. The Big Cheese Festival has a nice message about bullying, and I can relate to it because of my grandchildren.
I grabbed a copy of Unseen Motives, by Joan Hall to read next. I really need to keep up on this stuff, but I feel like I'm getting caught up now.
While I was at Amazon, I decided to check my own progress and found a wonderful five star review of The Playground. Thank you, Don Massenzio, so glad you enjoyed it.
I have to go back to work tomorrow, so I may knock off for now. I may even play a video game.
It happens to the best of us, but hopefully you enjoyed your vacation! You will catch up eventually! 🙂

Okay, so where is the follow button on your blog so I can get it into my reader. Usually it just ghosts in the bottom corner.

Her blog is self-hosted, Craig, so you might need to manually add the address in your “manage reader” section.

I am honestly not sure, it’s usually after each post. I will go back and double check to see where it’s at, and let you know!

I actually can’t find a “follow” button on my page. I’m wondering if that’s because it is self-hosted? I will look into it and let you know. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

I’m settled. I manually added your site. Might still be worth checking into for the future.

I sent an inquiry to WordPress – I can’t find how to fix it in my dashboard either. I wonder why this is 🤔

I, too, took a much-needed break over the three-day weekend. I didn’t get to travel to NOLA (or anywhere, for that matter), but I just needed some down time. So I missed posts, too. We’re all entitled to time off, though, so don’t stress over it.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip and you’re getting things done. I’m hoping to be more productive tomorrow. Because of editing woes, I only got about 350 words written today.

It’s still 350 words you didn’t have before.

I’ve found that playing catch up after a few days away can lead to everything else getting backed up. Figure it’s okay to act like I had a vacation and anything urgent would be emailed to me. Hope you had a fun trip.

It’s hard for me. I don’t want to let anyone down, but sometimes you just need a break.

True. I guess one has to hope others understand. It isn’t like a permanent abandonment, but life away from the computer takes over sometimes.

I hope you chillax with a video game and puppies. It’s always nice to have some downtime before the day job 🙂

Got plenty of both yesterday afternoon, thanks.

You have my permission to avoid my blog during the backup time.:-D

As a sneaky player myself, I’m glad you found time for a video game… but never thought I’d hear you say it…

I’d never really messed with them since the late 1970s. My wife got me an X-Box for Christmas, and they’ve come a long ways.

I have heard that they are good for the brain, perfect excuse for me!

It’s hard catching up after a vacation. I feel like I’m still digging out from the end of April, but we all need fun time and breaks. You’ll be back in the groove before you know it!

It made such a difference. I didn’t think about work. I only peripherally updated my blog. After the cobwebs cleared, I got some things done yesterday.

Time off is needed from time to time. Glad you’re catching up.

Sounds like you had a super holiday, Craig. Hope back to work isn’t too bad. At least it was a short week.

It was kind of brutal, but short week is a bonus.

It’s always good to kick back with a good video game. I’m partial to Harry Potter or Avenger Legos.
