In what’s become a Halloween tradition, I’m over at Colleen Chesebro’s place today. We’re talking about Halloween reading. Story over and say hi.
My yearly Halloween celebration includes C. S. Boyack and his amazing collection of speculative fiction novels. I can’t imagine Halloween without hearing about his newest release in the Hat Series, “The Ballad of Mrs. Molony.”

I just finished The Ballad of Mrs. Malony this morning, Craig, and it is a WINNER! Fantastic story. Congratulations on creating and completing this fun and flowing book. When I went to Colleen’s post a minute ago, I saw her in all those hats on her website and I realized hats will never be the same for me. I would wear hats if they did for me what they do for Lizzie. Fantastic success, congratulations.

Ha Ha! I’ve worn hats all my life. Comes from growing up in cowboy country. Makes me so happy that you enjoyed the story.

Happy to return. I actually wrote a poem inside HMS Lanternfish. Not my comfort zone.

I read that! You did great… did you know that writing poetry makes you a better author? https://nybookeditors.com/2015/02/poetry/

I’m sure anything helps, but I seem to lack that gene. Aside from some really old stuff, like Service or Poe, it isn’t my bag. I also admit to a fondness for filthy limericks. Does that count?

LOL! Limericks are always filthy… isn’t that a requirement?
