Time for another teaser leading up to publication of my next book. Tap the video and turn your speakers up. Then ponder Lisa’s poster and see if you’re imagination gives you any clues about this story.
As always, feel free to use Lisa’s poster for your phone background, or whatever. She makes for great Pinterest pins.
How about it, gang? Any idea what this Halloween story might be about yet?
I fear my brain hasn’t woken up yet, for I haven’t a clue! Brilliant idea though, Craig…

Getting close now. I need to find a day and publish it. Company coming this weekend.

Same here, but I worry I’ll choose the wrong day. I have been doing too much of that lately…

I don’t know that there is a wrong day. There is a wrong season, and some seasons are better for certain genres. In my case, I want to take advantage of the Halloween season.

Any idea of the right season for mystery thrillers?

I really don’t, but I’ll wager a guess at winter.

Hmm, not a clue. The green guys make me think of ghouls (shudder). You’re close to publishing. Yay!

Minimum of one more week. Might take a few more days depending upon how my time shakes out. Getting excited about it.

Generous of you, thanks. I haven’t got much beyond the Story Empire group, but I’ll be working that way soon, after I have a purchase link.

Okay! It’s definitely got something to do with music. I’m intrigued! Love Buddy Guy and this is a great version of Mustang Sally!!

I really liked the team up with Jeff Beck, too. Getting pretty close now. Another week, maybe a bit more.

Never heard that version of “Mustang Sally.” The track was great! Buddy’s vocals; excellent. Jeff Beck; guitar playing doesn’t get any better. But, as a musician and songwriter, it always bugs me when a singer doesn’t care enough to get the words right. He kept leaving out the line: “One of these early mornings, you’re gonna be wipin’ your weepin’ eyes.”
So, it’s obviously gonna have something to do with music, but those malevolent faces on Lisa’s bass make me think maybe there’s some voodoo in there.

It’s a fair guess. One more week of this, then I’m hitting the publish button. (I really like this version of the song. YouTube is kind of limited for selection.)
