Today seemed like it took forever. At least I had a visitor for a little while. This little buck stopped just long enough to pose for photos.
I got a ton of things done today at the office, and I’m beat. Tonight, I’ll probably have a beer and watch a baseball game.
The free day for The Hat is going well. With Don Massenzio’s post it seemed like a good time to try it. The highest rank I caught was #32 under the superhero genre. You have until midnight to get it for free.
Okay, it’s a lousy picture, but it’s out of necessity. This data does not display on my phone. The PC doesn’t save images to my private account. Therefore, I used my phone to take a picture of my PC monitor.
It could creep a little higher with a few more downloads. The book is free until midnight. You might want to grab a copy today, and read it later.
Tomorrow I’m going to hoist the colors and get back to my manuscript. There are two interviews I need to schedule, but if I get to them Sunday that’s perfectly okay.
I’m kind of excited to get back to my pirates, monsters, and adventure. Hope all of you have fun plans and a great weekend.
Congrats on the successful free sale and the little friend.

It’s fun to do one of these on occasion. Hopefully, I’ll make a new fan somewhere.

It’s been a while since release, and since Don was doing the interview it seemed like a good time to piggy-back a free day on top of that. Might gain a review or a new fan.

I knew you’d like the deer. Our creek is pretty overgrown now and yet the flowers behind him look pretty cool.

Thanks, John. We get a lot of stuff wandering by the office. I don’t always remember to grab my camera. The mink has been back too, but he’s too darned slippery to get a picture.

They aren’t called mule deer without a reason. Pretty cool that he stopped by.

Ah, that’s a great shot of the deer! Their eyes are incredible and I love the photos that capture them.
I always hope for you a good balance on the weekend, the words, the play, the rest 🙂
I’ve taken plenty of pics of my screen. It’s a real time saver for me!

Working out well, so far. Wrote some new words. Worked ahead on my interview slot. Watching some baseball. Have a few errands tomorrow, but they won’t amount to much.

I would say #32 is a pretty good ranking, Craig, and I’m sure it went higher. If I hadn’t already read it, I’d grab it for sure. Good luck with the WIP!

I’d didn’t do a lot of promo. My goal of “free” is to find a fan, and possibly garner a review. It’s not my goal to give everyone who might want one a copy. Hopefully, it will be a gentle nudge, and keep selling.

Congrats on The Hat. You moved copies an that’s what counts. I hope many of them turn into reviews.
I was supposed to work on copy edits this weekend but errands took precedence.I only managed 90 pages. Back at it again tomorrow. I’m looking forward to wrapping copy and galleys on this so I can more forward to something new. On the plus side, I did a ton of clothes shopping. Lisa would have been proud.

Lisa is thrilled. There is a balancing act on free days. I don’t want to give my work away, but enough to kick it in the pants is good. Maybe I’ll net a review or two out of it.
