That Time of Year

The Boise area topped 80 degrees today. It’s kind of interesting, because we had frost this week too. It also produces one of my favorite phenomenon.

Yup, red and drippy eyes began this morning. I got used to the congestion and even the occasional headache, but the eye thing annoys the crap out of me.

It’s life, not much I can do about it. We have to get a new microwave tomorrow. Thank God for a Sears credit card. It’s either that or watch Old What’s Her Face* grow a third boob. (Hmmm?)

* Not my wife’s actual name.

  1. Had a mini-heat wave here in San Francisco. 88 on Wednesday, mid 80s yesterday. Highly unusual for temperatures to get that warm in the city. No one has air condition because it just never gets that hot here. Well, it never used to, anyway. Ah, the forecast calls for temps in the low to mid 60s starting tomorrow. Much better.

Sorry about the red, drippy eyes.

  2. We’ve had seasonal CRAP for weather here, too, only in the upper 90s and humid. Lots of allergy and head pressure weather. UGH! I feel bad for you. At least while you wipe your eyes, Not-So-Old What’s Her Face (I refuse to call a lady old!) can heat you some snacks in the new microwave. Best wishes! ๐Ÿ˜€
